For Material World: Sculpture to Environment, curator Susan Cross invited seven artists to create site specific installations that relate to MASS MoCA’s reclaimed factory space. Working with simple materials like paper, plastic, cardboard and rope, the artists— Michael Beutler, Orly Genger, Wade Kavanaugh & Stephen B. Nguyen, Tobias Putrih, Alyson Shotz, Dan Steinhilber, and Eli Levenstein—have created bold, powerful and thought-provoking sculpture. Free for members; $6 for not-yet-members.
