American Symphony Orchestra at Bard

The American Symphony Orchestra’s ambitious plan to perform each of Beethoven’s symphonies in sequence continues into its second year with this concert, kicking off the season with Symphony No. 6 in F Major, Op. 68 (Pastoral). The program also includes Conor Brown’s Clarinet Concerto, featuring soloist David Krakauer; and Rachmaninoff’s
Piano Concerto No. 1 in F-sharp Minor, Op. 1, with pianist Chi-Hui Yen, piano. Robert L. Martin, director of Bard’s Conservatory of Music, will give a talk before each concert at 7 p.m.
