Arlo Guthrie at The Colonial
Saturday, November 20 @ 8 p.m.
Local legend Arlo Guthrie has become the elder statesman of the Woodstock generation, still rocking his hippie locks and, well… Birkenstocks would be just too perfect. Leave it to authority-questioning Arlo to beat the ban on performing at two competing venues, both of which are just a few miles down the railroad track from Alice’s famous church, which is now the Guthrie Center. Joining Arlo on his Journey On tour, inspired by the myth of Orpheus, is the folk/rock/country sibling trio The Burns Sisters, who provide the siren song for this music hero of epic proportions.
