Music & Dance Intelligence
Berkshire Symphony Orchestra at Williams
Friday, October 15 @ 8 p.m.

The first concert of the season by “the other BSO” is called January 24, 1919 – September 17, 2009. The series commemorates the lives of three great American composers who died last year, starting with Leon Kirchner, whose composition Music for 12 is framed by two masterpieces of the 18th and 19th centuries: Haydn’s Symphony No. 82 and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2. Director Ronald Feldman presents a pre-concert talk at 7:15; both events are free.
