Conservatory Sunday at Bard
Sunday, December 5 @ 3 p.m.
The students of The Bard Conservatory of Music perform Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet (Overture – Fantasy after Shakespeare); Stravinsky’s The Firebird Suite; Martinů‘s Oboe Concerto with soloist Elaine Douvas; and Gershwin’s Catfish Row: Suite from Porgy and Bess. Harold Farberman conducts this concert, which is a benefit for the conservatory’s Scholarship Fund; tickets are by donation, with a minimum donation of $5 ($20 suggested) for orchestra seating.
