Girlyman at Helsinki

Atlanta-based gender-bending folk/rock trio-turned-quartet Girlyman earned fast fans at the first incarnation of Club Helsinki in Great Barrington, and their fan base—known as girlyfans—has grown commensurate with the new space at Helsinki’s Hudson stage. Their music is marked by sparkling vocal harmonies and humor, which earned them the spot of opening act for Dar Williams and Indigo Girls before they took their rightful place as headliners. They’re also collaborating with comedian Margaret Cho on her upcoming album, Guitarded; you’re sure to hear more from this group, so why not hear them now?
