Lauren Ambrose & The Leisure Class at Club Helsinki

Little Claire Fisher from the erstwhile cable hit Six Feet Under is all grown up now, and who knew she’d relocate to our region and transform into a chanteuse? (Maybe her classmates at the Tanglewood Institute, where she studied voice and opera.) She first sang in public with The Leisure Class at the closing night of late great Club Helsinki Great Barrington, belting out eminently danceable old-timey ragtime and Dixieland tunes; now the ensemble has made several appearances at Joe’s Pub and other NYC hotspots. Get a jump on your New Years’ Eve celebrations at this not-to-be-missed show, and don’t forget your dancing shoes.
