Seems if it’s not enough for Pat Methany to be widely acknowledged as one of the world’s greatest guitarists—ever. Leave it to this musical wizard to take the idea of a one-man band and blow it up, through the miracle of electronics, to become a one-man orchestra. In The Orchestrion Tour, Methany plays solo on the stage with just his guitar—and a whole lot of high-tech gear linked to pianos, drums, and other instruments—making his strums resound and fill the theater with deep, layered sound.
