Could it be that Sting is the the Cole Porter of this generation? That’s the surprising conceit of Rosemary Loar, musically put forth in her quirky cabaret performance, Sting, Stang, Stung! Swinging the Music of Sting. Loar, a 20-year cabaret veteran who has performed on Broadway and on stages large and intimate across the world, re-interprets the Sting songbook in a range of styles, from swing to samba to chanteusey bluesy, and more.
