Winds in the Wilderness Trio at Copake Falls

Sunday, December 12 @ 3 p.m.
Rural Intelligence Arts
The Winds in the Wilderness series begins with an eclectic program of Baroque, classical, Latin, and contemporary music, performed by the sonorous trio of Beth Craig on cello, Sharon Powers on flute, and Ellen Katz Willner on oboe. The program for this intimate afternoon of chamber music includes a Baroque trio by Corelli, a duet by the Argentinean composer Ginastera, a cello solo by Bach, a trio by Stamitz, and Dream Dances by Schickele, which may inspire dancing in the aisles—which is explicitly permitted, and even encouraged.
