Dan’s Diary: A Bohemian Christmas Bazaar
If you crossed Rent with A Miracle on 34th Street, you’d end up with something that resembles the Crispina and Friends holiday sale. Held at Crispina Ffrench’s studio in an old church in Pittsfield, the sale is a hipster version of those church Christmas fairs of your youth. Crispina, who makes brilliant high-end home furnishings from recycled clothing, has invited 23 local craftspeople to show with her, including Daniel Bellow, Liz Olney, Tom Kryzak, Wendy Jensen and the folks from Community Access to the Arts.
