Dan’s Diary: Late Night Shopping at Hammertown
Last weekend, Joan Osofsky had no power at her Pine Plains store, but with her indomitable spirit she got generators and kept Hammertown Barn open. But the ice storm kept many people at home, so she is making up for lost time by staying open tonight, December 19, until 8 PM in Rhinebeck, where she’ll be serving prosecco and cheese to shoppers. On Monday, December 22, she’ll be pouring bubbly and serving cheese at the Pine Plains barn until 7:30 PM. And when you spend $50 or more at any one of the three stores before Christmas, you’ll get entered in a $500 raffle. For every additional $50 you spend, you get another entry.
