Restaurants 2010: Where We Ate Happily and Anew This Year

No matter what your taste or Zip code, there’s probably a restaurant that opened in the past 12 months that’s become a favorite—from Mark Strausman’s surprising Agriturismo in Pine Plains to the jazzy Zen Dog Cafe in Rhinebeck. What else was new? Baba Louie’s opened its third location in Pittsfield; Community Table made waiting for a table chic in Washington; Crave established an elegant outpost by the Walkway Over the Hudson; the Falls Village Inn reanimated its namesake town; Gypsy Joynt created its own vibe in Great Barrington; Le Laurentis channelled Julia Child in Lakeville; the Local honored Hudson Valley farmers in Rhinebeck; Mezze moved and grew in Williamstown; and Taste added spice to Hudson as did the restaurant at Helsinki Hudson.
