Bay State Games Offer Winter Sports Action
January 28, 29, 30

If this Olympics-less year has left you and the family pining for some winter sports action, check out the Bay State Winter Games all weekend long. Competitions including figure skating, ice hockey and skiing will be held at venues in Williamstown, North Adams and Pittsfield. Competitions begin Friday afternoon and run through Sunday evening. For a complete list of events, times and venues, visit their website.
On Saturday evening, the centerpiece of the Games’ figure skating competition at Williams College is the Bay State Skate Figure Skating Show. The 2011 show features the talents of regional medalists and Winter Games winners, plus a performance by “Skating with the Stars” champion Fred Palascak and his partner Melanie Lambert. Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show are $10 and can be ordered online.
