Celebrate a Family Valentine’s at Ventfort Hall

Ventfort Hall Mansion and Gilded Age Museum is offering a way for families to celebrate Valentine’s Day together with an afternoon of activities. The fun begins with a roaring bonfire down the hill in back of the mansion, complete with free hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows.
At 2 p.m., the Nutshell Playhouse in Concert will entertain with a program of charming music, puppetry and clowning in The Mighty Mysterious Megapuff. The audience will follow the adventures of two clowns as they use their knowledge, skills and imagination. The show features a variety of masks and puppets, including the Encyclopoodle, the dog who knows everything. A Victorian Tea follows the hourlong show.
