Chatham’s Winterfest Offers Seasonal Fun for the Young

December 12 @ 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Snow date December 19
Rural Intelligence Kids
The Chatham Business Alliance pulls out all the stops to turn the historic village into a winter wonderland for its annual Winterfest. Adults can shop for the holidays while the kids visit Santa in the mini mall by American Pie. Or they can hop on a wagon pulled by draft horses for a ride through the village streets, check out the cookie contest at Kinderhook Bank or visit with local children’s author Emily Arnold McCully at the Chatham Bookstore from noon to 2:30 p.m.

At 1 p.m., head over to Beach and Bartolo’s offices for holiday storytime, then enjoy the movie How to Train Your Dragon at the Crandell Theatre, courtesy of the Chatham Business Alliance, starting at 1:30 p.m. As always, the movie is free, but you must pick up tickets beforehand at local shops Brown’s Emporium, The Chatham Bookstore, Clocktower Toys & Gifts or Chatham Kids.
