Get Clued in to Animal Tracks at Kinderhook Library

April 18 @ 2– 3:30 p.m.
Rural Intelligence Kids
The Columbia Land Conservancy is hosting a workshop for school aged children at the Kinderhook Library that explores animal tracks. Tracks and traces can provide a glimpse into the otherwise hidden lives of animals.

The program starts with the making of plaster casts of animals native to the area, which children will get to take home. Then students will learn about track patterns and how they can help people identify the animals that made them. The kids also practice interpreting tracks using a story sheet.

To register, please contact Amy Thiel at 518.758.6192
