Hudson Opera House Offers Variety of Kids’ Activities

Rural Intelligence Kids
The Hudson Opera House’s schedule of free kids’ activities has kicked into gear again after a holiday break. The list includes movement and dance, art, singing and drumming - plenty to keep young ones occupied and active as well as get their creative juices flowing. The weekly schedule is as follows:

Mondays @ 10 - 11 a.m. - Music and Creative Movement for Toddlers with Abby Lappen.
Mondays @ 7 p.m. - African Drumming for Teens in collaboration with Kuumba Dance and Drum and Operation Unite. Adults $5, youth ages 12 and up free.

Thursdays @ 3:30 - 5 p.m. - Open Studio for Young Artists, designed for ages 7 and older

Thursdays @ 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. beginning February 2 - Choral Singing taught by Sheri Bauer-Mayorga. Ages 8 to 12. Registration required, 518.822.1438.

Fridays @ 5 - 6 p.m. - Hip Hop Dance Workshop. Learn Hip-Hop dance with Drew of Creative Energy, in collaboration with Operation Unite. Call 518.828.3612.
