November 4, 5 @ 10 and 11:30 a.m.
Rural Intelligence Kids
Step back in time to Philadelphia in 1776, when Abigail Datchery and Samuel Adams attended the first reading of the Declaration of Independence, or help re-create powerful events, such as the Boston Tea Party that sparked the War for Independence. The CENTER for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck presents two days of an performances by Kit’s Interactive Theater that allow students to be deftly incorporated into the plot.

Thursday’s shows feature the American Revolution. Friday’s shows focus on The Pioneers, where you can blaze a trail through Independence, MO in the 1860s with Pioneer Penny Pritchard. Relive the spirit of covered wagon travel with buffalo stampedes, deadly snake bites, and dancing by the light of the moon.

The show is best suited for grade four to adult.
