Learn How Animals Cope with Winter at Mud Creek

January 22 @ 2 - 3:30 p.m.
Rural Intelligence Kids
Surviving the winter can be a struggle for many animals. How do animals stay warm and find food? What is the difference between hibernation and torpor? Do frogs really freeze? Join the educators at Mud Creek Environmental Center to learn the answers to these questions and more about how critters cope with the winter’s cold.

The program includes exploration of the world of winter adaptations both inside Mud Creek’s learning center and outdoors, so dress appropriately. A limited number of snowshoes are available if needed. Registration for this program is appreciated; please contact Chelsea Benson by phone 518.828.4386 x 3 or by .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
