Make a Marionette with Sharon Historical Society

January 8 @ 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Rural Intelligence Kids
Make your very own marionette, or string puppet, and learn how to bring it to life with a few simple movements. Master teacher Joe Brien will teach participants to work with wood, clay and fabric to create colorful characters -  inspired by the historic costumes on display at the Sharon Historical Society.

This workshop is for kids 8 and older accompanied by an adult. This is not a drop-off event. Sponsored by Housatonic Youth Servce Bureau and the Connecticut Commission on Culture and Tourism.
