Mmmm…Hot Chocolate Saturdays in Sheffield

Saturdays in winter @ 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Rural Intelligence Kids
Bartholomew’s Cobble, a National Natural Landmark in the Berkshires, invites the public to enjoy five miles of trails, snowshoe rentals, a Nature Center, and a sledding hill with the best view in the area and warm up with hot chocolate before or after your trek.

The high point at Bartholomew’s Cobble, Hurlburt’s Hill, rises 1,000 feet to a 20-acre upland field on the Massachusetts–Connecticut border that offers panoramic views northward up the Housatonic River Valley.

Stop at the visitors center to learn about winter tracks and birds, then head out on the trails by foot, snowshoe, sled or ski and return to the center to warm up with some yummy hot chocolate. Snowshoes can be rented in advance for on site use.

Bartholomew’s Cobble
Admission $5 adults, $1 children; free for Sheffield residents
