Open Farm Day in Chatham

September 25 @ 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Rural Intelligence Kids
If you’re in the mood to see more than alpacas this weekend, the Chatham Agricultural Partnership (CAP), in cooperation with farms in Chatham, is hosting an Open Farm Day. CAP was formed to promote agriculture in the town, and one of the ways they do so is by making people more aware of Chatham’s working farms.

The event gives visitors a look at the many types of farming that take place in Chatham, and allows you to see operations at some of the town’s most beautiful and busy farms. The tour will include sheep, dairy, beef, equine and alpaca farms, and most of those farms have other animals on site like pigs, chickens, cats and dogs. Several of the farms will have their product for sale.

They put together a suggested driving and biking route that can be downloaded on the CAP website.
