Rennie Harris Dancers Hip-Hop onto Mahaiwe Stage

Rennie Harris PureMovement dancers bring their thrilling hip-hop moves to the Mahaiwe stage this Friday. North Philadelphia born and raised, Harris (artistic director, choreographer) celebrates hip-hop culture by using some of the world’s most influential forms of movement, music, and storytelling.

Harris founded his company based on the belief that hip-hop is the most important original expression of a new generation and has been teaching workshops and classes at universities around the country.
