Rockwell Museum Special Holiday Celebration

December 4 @ 1 - 7 p.m.
Rural Intelligence Kids
To complement the spirit of Stockbridge’s annual Main Street at Christmas festival, Norman Rockwell Museum will present a special day of holiday-themed activities. From 1 to 4 p.m., join award-winning illustrator Wendell Minor and acclaimed musician Gordon Titcomb for an afternoon inspired by the golden age of the American railroad.

Spend a wondrous evening appreciating the holiday’s simpler pleasures. At 4 p.m., join author/children’s book historian Leonard Marcus for an illustrated look at artist Jerry Pinkney’s creative process (the artist’s work is currently on view in the Museum’s exhibition “Witness: The Art of Jerry Pinkney”).

At 5:30 p.m., storyteller Carol Birch will spin tales that reflect real life miracles and a diversity of traditions and cultures. The evening will include holiday treats and tours of the Museum’s “Home for the Holidays” exhibition.
