Science Fiction Comes to Life in North Adams
Saturdays in January @ 4 p.m.
Western Gateway Heritage State Park is hosting a series of dramatic readings based on science fiction novels by H.G. Wells and Jules Verne, and with each reading explores a different science-related theme. On January 15, Journey to the Center of the Earth with Verne’s classic novel and learn about geology. January 22 features Wells’ The Time Machine and includes a discussion on evolution. And on January 29 enjoy an exploration of the music and sounds of science fiction with the program theme Symphonic Science Fiction.
