Search for the Missing Mummy at Berkshire Museum

October 29 @ 7:30 p.m.
Rural Intelligence Kids
This weekend offers your last chance to see the original production The Case of the Missing Mummy, as the Berkshire Museum wraps up its Search for the Essential Mummy exhibit.  The Castle Hill Theatre Company presents a show described as a combination of Agatha Christie-style murder mystery along the lines of an oversized game of Clue. The production promises spine-tingling chills for children age 12 and over as well as adults.

A group of fashionable London guests assemble for the unwrapping of a sarcophagus straight off the boat from Egypt. (The real-life origins of these so-called “science nights” are detailed in the museum exhibit.) Just as the guests begin to reveal more about their sullied pasts, one of them is found murdered. And to everyone’s horror, the mummy is nowhere to be found. As things turn more dire, everyone at the party is a suspect, and no one is safe.
