Seed Safari at Mud Creek

October 9 @ 10 - 11:30 a.m.
Rural Intelligence Kids
Early autumn is a great time to learn about seed travelers. Many field and meadow plants have developed ingenious ways of insuring that their species will scatter to new locations. Although their goal is the same, to spread the species, their methods are often different and may involve traveling by wind, water, hitchhiking, and catapulting to name a few.

Join the educators at Mud Creek Environmental Center as they explore the unique world of seeds. Part of the program will involve walking Mud Creek’s trails on a seed safari, so dress for the weather.
