Shopping for Shoes at Hudson Opera House

April 16 @ 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Rural Intelligence Kids
No, the Hudson Opera House isn’t offering a day for bargain hunters to find new footwear. Shopping for Shoes is an award-winning tale of teenage love…and a lot of shoes. Visually witty, the fast paced performance with an ever-changing set weaves the tale of newfound love into global trade issues.

The story of Siobhan McClusky, a 13-year-old who is passionately politically aware, is designed to help youth understand the implications of their own actions as global citizens. Written by Tim Crouch, the production won the top award at the 2010 International Performing Arts for Youth Showcase. Recommended for age 10 and older.

Hudson Opera House
Tickets $10 adults, $5 youth; group rates available
327 Warren Street
Hudson, NY
