The Alamo Revisited in North Adams

The 175th anniversary of The Alamo is the occasion for an exploration of American folk legend Davy Crockett and the events of that day - March 6, 1836. The visitors’ center at Western Gateway Heritage State Park is hosting King of the Wild Frontier a program featuring readings from the autobiography A Narrative of the Life of David Crockett as well as an illustrated lecture about what happened during Crockett’s fateful last moments in the Battle of the Alamo.
