The Clark Hosts Dürer Drawing Day

November 27 @11:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Rural Intelligence Kids
The Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute invites participants of all ages and abilities to be inspired by the art of Albrecht Dürer at the Dürer Drawing Day. The workshop, which accompanies the Clark’s The Strange World of Albrecht Dürer exhibition, will be guided by professional artists Jaye Fox and Thor Wickstrom, co-directors of studio21south in North Adams.

Participants are encouraged to visit the exhibition and study the artist’s use of line to define form, light, and shadow. Populated by monsters, witches, hybrid animals, and marauding soldiers, The Strange World of Albrecht Dürer will inspire budding artists to create their own works of imaginative fancy.
