Uncle Rock Brings Kids’ Show to Infinity Hall

December 5 @ noon

Uncle Rock, aka Robert Burke Warren, former bassist of the late-’70s punk group the Fleshtones, has made a successful new career performing kids’ tunes with Beatles-esque hooks, Grimm’s Fairy Tales depth, and Woody Guthrie folksiness.

His first three three highly-acclaimed CDs took an artful approach to topics like conspicuous consumption (“Too Many Presents”) the plight of Arctic-dwelling friends (“Polar Bear Over There”) the need for downtime (“Nothin’ Doin’”) and even the fact of death (“Picnic In The Graveyard”). His new disc, which he will perform from, pays tribute to the likes of David Bowie, the Rolling Stones and Johnny Cash.

Infinity Hall
Tickets $12, $15
Route 44
