Art Omi: The Shangri la on the Hill

On Saturday, July 18, at the culmination of their annual International Artists Residency, Art Omi gave a farewell party for this year’s residents on the eve of Open Studios day. Each year, approximately 30 artists, some established, others emerging, are selected from a pool of applicants that generally ranges from between 600 and one thousand.  The artists spend three weeks in July working at Art Omi, in a magical setting in the rolling hills of Ghent, New York.
