‘Material World’  Opens at MASS MoCA

Rural Intelligence Parties and Openings On Saturday, April 24, MASS MoCA unveiled Material World: Sculpture to Environment in which seven artists made site specific installations on the museum’s second and third floor galleries. Using ordinary materials, the artists chosen by curator Susan Cross created sculptures that are meant to engaged. There seems to be a “hands on” policy at this exhibition that is the kind large-scale happening at which MASS MoCA excels.
