Art Omi's sixth annual Light Into Night gala, held Saturday, Sept. 14 in Ghent, New York, was a unique celebration of the international art institution's living legacy. The event was also an opportunity for its many supporters to raise funds for the public programming that, over the years, has transformed Art Omi from a magnificent sculpture park with a world-class artist residency into an impactful community resource. The festivities were held in Omi's studio barn and included an impressive auction of items and experiences. Local food and artistic performances scattered throughout the evening integrated the center's mission in a resonant way. Guests later dined and danced as the party burned its light late into the night.
