This summer promises to be all Leonard Bernstein all the time, and provides a perfect theme as Close Encounters With Music concluded its main season. On Saturday, June 9, CEWM’s gala concert, “Lenny at 100 — Feel the BERNstein” offered a musical portrait of the great conductor/composer’s brilliant career, and featured pianists, singers and, of course, Yehuda Hanani, the group’s founder, at the cello. Following the performance, patrons gathered at the Stockbridge Golf Club for dinner and a chance to mingle with the guest artists.
