Sharon Historical Society Gallery Sharon Cures: Centuries of Medicine in One Small Town, through firsthand accounts, newspaper articles, and antique medical instruments and medicines, the exhibit brings to life how the people of Sharon confronted disease and injury in a time when modern medicine was just beginning to be established. Now – April 28. Works by the Kent artist Tomas Savrda. Constructed from wood, tin, stone and found objects, his masks, mini stage scenes and freestanding kinetic sculptures look like they have tumbled from a 19th century cabinet of forgotten toys.
