Three locations in our region now screen the wildly popular Metropolitan Opera performances in High Definition. Now in its fifth year, this Peabody Award-winning series will present a record 12 live transmissions to theaters worldwide this opera season. Tickets go on sale as early as Friday, August 27th, but unless you are a member of the Metropolitan Opera Guild or one of the hosting venues, you will have to wait to buy yours—if there are any left.
