Saturday, August 15, 8pm | Great Barrington, MA | $30, 18+

Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center hosts Indigo Comedy Night with Mike Lebovitz on August 15, with host Thomas Attila Lewis and featuring Kay Goutos in the Indigo Room's café-table setting.

Lebovitz's comedy career technically started at six, in clowning classes—still evident in the wild-eyed, careening style he's built since. His performances have been described by audiences as spontaneous, joyful, and slightly terrifying, moving from topic to topic with what he's called "dubious couplings."

He came up in Chicago as a regular at Zanies, The Laugh Factory, and Comedy Bar Chicago, and co-founded the showcase "Comedians You Should Know," which he brought to New York in 2016.

He's appeared on NBC's "Last Comic Standing," Comedy Central, and HBO's "The Deuce." His debut album, "Two Slob Household," is available now, and his special "School vs. Sleep: The Eternal Struggle" streams on Peacock, Amazon Prime, and YouTube.

Indigo Room, 20 Castle St., Great Barrington, MA. Tickets $30 at mahaiwe.org.
