The Two Of Us Productions presents a mischievous new spin on the Sherlock Holmes canon with Ms. Holmes & Ms. Watson – Apt. 2B, running for two weekends beginning March 20 at the Theater at the Copake Grange. The fast-paced comedy reimagines Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous detective partnership through a contemporary, feminist lens, transforming Holmes and Watson into eccentric roommates navigating post-pandemic life while stumbling into a web of mystery.
In this darkly comic take, hyper-analytical Sherlock Holmes and the pragmatic Dr. Joan Watson convert the polished sleuths of Victorian London into a codependent odd couple. Their investigations soon collide with a formidable adversary who may hold more answers than either detective expects.
The production stars Constance Lopez as Sherlock Holmes and Leigh Fisher-Troch as Dr. Joan Watson, with Karissa Payson as Irene Adler, Diane Boice Yorck as Mrs. Hudson and Mrs. Drebber, Mason Lowe as tech billionaire Elliot Monk, and Benjamin Kirk as Inspector Lestrade.
Performances take place Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 3 pm at the Theater at the Copake Grange, 628 Empire Road in Copake. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students and seniors. Reservations are recommended.
