March 21 | Hawthorne Valley Waldorf School, Ghent, NY | 9am–4pm

Hawthorne Valley’s new Roots & Relics Market brings a carefully curated mix of folk craft, vintage finds, and small-scale makers to the Waldorf School campus in Ghent on Saturday, March 21 from 9am to 4pm. The daylong indoor market gathers artisans, collectors, and food producers for an event that feels part flea market, part craft fair, and part community event.

Vendors range from antique dealers and textile artists to herbalists and small food producers. Shoppers can browse vintage clothing and new garments, handmade pottery, beeswax candles, botanical skincare, natural soy candles, olive oils and preserves, and Scandinavian-inspired paper and textile craft.

Alongside the market stalls, the event promises live music, food, and the kind of relaxed social atmosphere that Hawthorne Valley events tend to cultivate. Discover unexpected objects, and run into neighbors along the way.

The market takes place at Hawthorne Valley Waldorf School, 330 County Route 21C in Ghent. Admission is $2.
