There are not one, but two special winter farmers markets produced by Berkshire Grown this weekend, one on December 20 at the Housy Dome in Housatonic, then one in North Adams at Greylock Works on December 21. This is probably one of my top 5 favorite holiday events in the Berkshires; these markets are well-curated, full of amazing food and local crafts, and usually pretty crowded.

Shoppers will find a wide range of locally grown and produced foods including fresh winter greens, squash, root vegetables, apples, meat, cheese, baked goods, maple syrup, honey, jams, and more, alongside a selection of artisan crafts and live music. I have personally purchased lamb, duck, alpaca socks, incredible breads filled with veggies and cheese, homemade sausages, fresh flowers, and more there through the years.

SNAP and HIP are welcome, with Market Match available for SNAP users and immediate reimbursement for HIP-eligible purchases.
