CoSM hosts Art Church on Sunday, January 4, a two-hour communal experience that treats art-making as a spiritual practice. Led by founders Alex Grey and Allyson Grey, the program blends a short “wisdom drop,” guided meditation with music, and open time for creating in a shared, supportive setting.
Held in the Grey House Art Lab, Art Church invites participants to draw, paint, write, or simply reflect—no experience required. Guests are encouraged to bring their own materials (colored pencils, pens, watercolors, sketchbooks), though some supplies will be available on site. The session concludes with optional sharing among members of the group.
Admission is free for CoSM members. General admission is $20 in advance or $25 at the door for in-person attendance; a $10 Zoom option is also available. Capacity is limited, and late entry is not permitted once the program begins.
