On Monday, July 24, Barrington Stage Company's 2023 Gala transported guests to the Kit Kat Club at The Stationery Factory in Dalton for an incredible one-night-only cabaret hosted by the out-of-this-world sensation Taylor Mac. Board President Marita Glodt introduced the new leadership team of Artistic Director Alan Paul and Managing Director Meredith Lynsey Schade. Founding Artistic Director Julianne Boyd and Associate Artist Mark H. Dold honored Patron of the Arts Rhoda Levitt with a citation from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Over 350 attendees enjoyed a risque burlesque show by Gypsy Layne Cabaret, an open bar and four-course dinner provided by caterer Tom Ellis’s The Swell Party, a dance party with Brownskin Band, and performances by Associate Artist Alan H. Green, Rafael Duran, "Cabaret’s" James Rose, and the cast of the upcoming "A New Brain." The gala was more than entertaining; A Night at the Kit Kat Club raised $45,000, including $201,000 for BSC's Education Fund.
