In a quirky solo performance that blends absurdist character comedy with improvised charm, “Be Good!” with Paulettelands at The Foundry on Friday, January 30. Described as a night of “giddy small talk madness,” the piece follows the mild-mannered Paulette—armed with earnest pleasantries and monumental social anxiety—as he stumbles into a room full of strangers and attempts, with delightful awkwardness, to connect, mingle, and simply be good.

Created and performed by Daniel Maseda, the show has been presented at festivals and theaters across the country, where audiences have responded to its playful interrogation of politeness, communication, and the hilarity inherent in overthinking every interaction.

Tickets for the West Stockbridge performance are available through Eventbrite.

“Be Good!” with Paulette is typically an adult-oriented theatrical experience with audience interaction and improvised elements.
