Berkshire Creative, the NGO founded to stimulate new job growth and economic opportunity in the region by sparking innovative collaborations between artists, designers, cultural institutions and businesses, held one of its SPARK! networking parties at the Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield on Tuesday, September 15. The Colonial's executive director, David Fleming (with tuxedoed Dean Martin impersonator Richard Fabozzi, near left) arranged for back-stage tours of the immaculately restored 1903 theater, which has been so important to Pittsfield's renaissance and the region's creative economy.
