Each year we look forward to the Blue Plate staff's annual benefit. The iconic Chatham, New York restaurant lit up the night Saturday, Jan. 12 with a vegetarian banquet, drinks, an auction, great music and revelry, all to support the Chatham Animal Haven, a shelter for farm animals. As winter settles in around us, this event has become a warm and welcoming beacon that reminds us of the regional party scene we love so much, currently in semi hibernation.
