World-class actors, singers, dancers, directors, and culture vultures of all stripes were out in full force for Shakespeare & Company's Broadway in the Berkshires benefit on Monday, July 8. Hosted by Obie award winner John Douglas Thompson, the evening featured show-stopping tunes by performers like Tonya Pinkins (Caroline, or Change) and Jonathan Rayson (Little Shop of Horrors). Afterward, Shakespeare & Company artistic director Tony Simotes (near left, with Mahaiwe Board Chair Lola Jaffe and Lucy Simotes) greeted supporters over a dinner reception catered by Savory Harvest Catering. Afterward, inspired by all that talent from the city that never sleeps, night owls opted for an after-party hosted at nearby Hampton Terrace.
