Jamie Larson reports from Hudson. The Columbia-Greene Hospital Foundation held its Winter Blast Saturday night at Helsinki Hudson. The diverse group of Foundation supporters packed the spacious club and both floors of the restaurant. While the party was indeed a blast, rocking well into the night with the help of Paul Cebar Tomorrow Sound, the event also raised more than $120,000 for the Foundation, which benefits the hospital and Kaaterskill Care. Donors were extremely generous and took the chance to bid on incredible items in a silent auction that included a beautiful and sizable print by Lynn Davis and a week's vacation in Montreal. Pictured at left are Mary Gail Biebel, Foundation Board Chair Patti Matheney and Foundation Executive Director Betsy Gramkow.
