Crescendo is a national award-winning music performance organization founded in 2003 by Artistic Director Christine Gevert. Based in Lakeville, CT, our chorus, period instrument orchestra, and vocal ensemble present concerts year-round in Connecticut, the Berkshires, and New York’s Hudson Valley. Our choral singers are highly trained amateurs and local professionals. Many of its soloists and instrumentalists are internationally recognized musicians. Our innovative programming and historically informed performance practices distinguish us from many music organizations.
